Scream Factory is produced by Imaginative Productions, a small family run events company that was set up as a means to diversify our fire and flood restoration business. ‘Fire and floods have very little to do with Halloween Haunts,’ you might think to yourself… but we utilise the skills of our experienced joiners, electricians, plumbers and decorators etc to help create buildings and sets that you would only expect to find on a Hollywood movie set.
Scream Factory has grown from a tour in the woods to a permanent site in the grounds of an old nursery behind Kirkleatham Museum and is now the North East’s largest and scariest multi-award winning Halloween Haunt. Last October, our cast and crew grew to over 100 and we scared over 22,000 visitors.
Each year we build on what we have, to try and bring you the best and funniest frights of your lives! New for 2018 we introduced a brand new Valentine’s event which opened for a two day limited scare special. Thousands attended over the weekend for a very different romantic Scream Factory.
In May, we added another award to our bag at ScareCon’s European Scare Awards, “Best Out of Season Scare Event” and ramped up the energy for the October site build.
